Yazmine May is a distinguished Cypriot-British photographer based in London, specialising in editorial and documentary-style photography. Named among the Top 20 Wedding Photographers by Wed Vibes, her work has been featured in British Vogue, Brides, Antibride, Wed Vibes, and other prestigious publications. She travels globally, capturing weddings from intimate elopements to grand multi-day celebrations in destinations in the Carribean, Europe and UK.
With a background in fashion from the age of seven, Yazmine seamlessly blends editorial photography with the raw authenticity of documentary storytelling. Born to a Greek Cypriot mother and English father, she was raised in a family of entrepreneurial women, deeply influencing her creative journey. Her love for fashion, architecture, culture, and analogue film photography shapes her distinctive artistic approach.
Beyond photography, Yazmine’s greatest inspiration comes from her partner and children, who are at the heart of everything she does. She deeply values family, love, and human connection, which translates into her work—capturing moments with honesty, vulnerability, and unfeigned emotion.

UK-based Yazmine May is a documentary and editorial wedding photographer with a deep passion for capturing love. Celebrating love is at the heart of her work, and she believes wedding photos should evoke deep, heartfelt emotions. Her goal is for couples to relive every moment of their wedding day, experiencing the same joy and intimacy for generations to come.
Her photography is heavily influenced by capturing real, raw moments. She is dedicated to portraying the genuine relationships between couples, striving to capture every laugh, tear, smile, and expression of love, creating timeless images that will be cherished forever. Yazmine genuinely cares for her clients, from the initial consultation through their wedding day and for years afterward. Her commitment is to deliver beautiful, heartfelt art while building lasting relationships that extend well beyond the wedding day.
Yazmine is a hybrid photographer, working with both analog and digital mediums, but film holds a very special place in her heart. She shoots on both 35mm and 120mm film, and her expertise in film photography is where she truly specializes. She spends time in the darkroom, hand-printing each image, bringing an extra level of care, artistry, and romance to her work. This process allows her to connect deeply with every moment she captures, creating images that feel timeless and meaningful. While she appreciates the versatility of digital photography, film remains the medium through which she best expresses her artistic vision and emotional storytelling.
